Generally, someone in an associate HR role will be responsible for supporting more senior HR staff in various areas, such as recruitment, employee onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, or HR data management.
Earning an HR certification typically requires meeting certain educational and/or professional experience requirements, as well as passing a rigorous exam.

Applicants must pass an online assessment, comprising of 80 multiple-choice questions to showcase that they meet the recertification requirements.

*You must have an active membership at the time of assessment.

Recertification
Recertification
HRME maintains high standards for professional HRM executives, designees are required to renew their HRME designations every 3 years to maintain authorized use of the credentials. Renewal must be submitted by its expiration date.
- Completion of minimum 20 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in the 3 years since the initial award of your designation or since your last designation renewal*.
